The Lake George Boathouse Bed & Breakfast is a year round B&B providing convenient access to all the exciting activities the Adirondack Region has to offer. Stay with us during the winter and enjoy the cross country or down hill skiing at nearby Gore Mountain and Garnet Hill Lodge. The Boathouse Bed & Breakfast is located in the town of Bolton Landing within walking distance to the world famous Sagamore Hotel. Staying at the Boathouse entitles you to some of the fine amenities of the Sagamore resort. This includes a full 18 hole golf course, indoor pool, fitness center, spa and many gourmet restaurants including the posh Trillium. From the Boathouse you can take a short stroll to restaurants, shops, beaches, tennis, hiking, boating and fishing. In the winter snow shoeing and snow mobiling are within a short drive.
Built in 1917 as the summer home of speed boat racer and gold cup recipient George Reis, the term "boathouse" does not do it justice.
